I have finally tackled a jacket!! To be honest, I wasn’t sure if this was something I would ever be that interested in trying. Outerwear, other than jersey cardigans, has always intimidated me. That is definitely one benefit of the Minerva Crafts Blogger Network. Once I’ve decided on a project, I am committed!
Do you have a specific independent sewing pattern company that you just cannot seem to get and use enough of their patterns? I do! I am still obsessed with Deer and Doe. I am determined to make nearly every one of their patterns.
My current favorite of their patterns is the Cardamome dress. That bib detailing is amazing! I waited for such a long time to attempt sewing my version of this dress because I was quite worried that it wouldn’t look at all right on me.
I was about to post an update on my Corbel Sweater progress when I remembered that today is a Minerva Crafts Blogger Network day! And I made the cutest dress that I cannot wait to show you. ❤️ I made a Cami Dress!!
I love a simple button-up blouse. Especially if it has a cute print. I think they may very well be one of my "signature" styles. They're classy, simple, and I feel quite put together when I wear one instead of a t-shirt. Which makes July's Minerva Crafts Blogger Network project particularly appropriate!
My next post for the Minerva Crafts Blogger Network is now live. I used some amazing cotton poplin to stitch up a Megan Nielsen Matilda dress. I fell in love with the origami animal print the moment I spotted it on the Minerva Crafts website. It is the perfect combination of two of my favorite things: novelty prints and animals.
The Reglisse dress is my second time using Deer and Doe patterns and I've become a bit obsessed. Their pattern designs are gorgeous and just my style. The instructions are good, if a bit sparse at times. (Nothing a google search can't help with.) And the finished projects are just so pretty.
I have two or three finished sewing projects that I desperately want to blog about, but getting pictures taken has been touch and go the past few days. Fingers crossed I can take some this evening and have a blog post up and ready before the weekend!
While I wait on that, I wanted to show you a few of the different projects I've been working on recently. I've been crazy busy with test knitting and I've also managed to start my Minerva Crafts Blogger Network project.
I almost forgot to post about this! I finished up an adorable cross stitch project recently. I am so pleased with how it turned out. I have plans to add a bit of color to it over the next couple of weeks, but I ran out of time before my post was due for the Minerva Crafts Blogger Network.
Hello my dears,
It's that time of the month again! My March project for the Minerva Crafts Blogger Network may just be my favorite on yet. I love everything about it and cannot wait for the weather to get warmer so I can wear it all the time! I stitched up a pink and floral, super girly version of the Deer and Doe Bleuet dress pattern.
Hello my dears,
It is time for another Minerva Crafts Blogger Network project! This month I made the Grainline Studio Alder Shirtdress out of a gorgeous novelty print cotton poplin. I sewed up the size 12 with a couple of minor adjustments.
